What do I need to run MYCFO?

MYCFO is a Windows desktop application. It is tested on Windows 11 (other Windows versions are being verified) and uses a MySQL database.

Can several people use MYCFO at the same time?

Not yet. MYCFO is single-user today. Multi-user access with user rights and record locking is on the roadmap.

Can I enter invoices in foreign currencies?

Not yet. Each company has a home currency chosen from 154 world currencies (currency records include an exchange-rate field), and vouchers are entered in that home currency. Foreign-currency vouchers with exchange gain/loss are on the roadmap.

Does MYCFO prepare or file my tax returns?

No. MYCFO applies tax codes and rates on document lines and has a GST/Tax report tab, but it does not prepare or file national tax returns.

Is there a free trial or download?

Not yet. An installer, trial and licensing are being prepared. Request a demo or early access and our team will contact you.

How is my data protected against loss?

MYCFO makes dated backups — manually, automatically every 24 hours, and through a nightly scheduled task — and can restore from a backup.
